Koffi was our teacher in a weekly conversational French group for several years. The group consisted of many levels, but Koffi was able to encourage and engage us in such a way that everyone was able to contribute. Koffi is an excellent French teacher. I began my French language learning journey with him during the COVID-19 pandemic, and he taught me for several years. He is extremely knowledgeable about the pronunciation, grammar, and history of the language. He also brings a lot of energy to the classes he teaches! Koffi always kept classes professional and on time. I learned so many details of the French language from him that I will never forget!

 Koffi's bespoke teaching style and his patience allowed me to get back foundational skills in a matter of months after a four-year break. Now, I am picking up where I left off and am growing my vocabulary and grammar weekly. Oral comprehension and expression are more difficult for me than writing, so we purposely spend most of our sessions speaking to one another to practice and enhance those skills. Koffi has even pushed me to begin using French in my professional life. He gave me the assignment of giving a PowerPoint presentation on my work in French to help me develop my speaking confidence, oral expression, and commercial communication skills. The French Voyage has allowed me to grow in ways that I had not imagined, and I look forward to seeing what the future of my foreign language journey holds.
